Agricultural Training and Technical Assistance

Seed to Seed offers a variety of workshops and on-farm training programs, including natural farming methods, selection and use of equipment for small-scale farming production, sustainable soil management, arid-land crop production, desert adapted agriculture, reducing water use and utilizing drought-tolerant crops. We also provide training and consulting assistance on soil testing and land assessments. 

Seed Stewardship 

We offer education and consultation on growing for seed saving, seed storage best practices, rare seed conservation, maintaining healthy traditional seed varieties, creating and maintaining seed banks and seed sanctuaries, conducting community seed evaluations and creating farmer-led seed conservation plans.

Grant Writing and Management 

Seed to Seed is experienced with both government and foundation grants and are here to assist in developing your grant proposals to support your organization’s important community-serving work.

Facilitation and Community Support

We are experienced in facilitating intergenerational conversations around food security to build and support community resilience. We will assist in the development of strategic plans to support your community’s unique vision.
